Performing with Shen Yun since: 2007
Angelia Wang won first place in the New Tang Dynasty Television International Classical Chinese Dance Competition’s junior division in both 2009 and 2010, and then proceeded to win first place in the adult division in 2012. She studied classical Chinese dance at the New York-based Fei Tian Academy of the Arts and earned both her Bachelor of Fine Arts, graduating summa cum laude, and Master of Fine Arts degrees in classical Chinese dance from Fei Tian College.
When performing, I imagine myself as a miniature stage. In other words, my whole soul becomes a vehicle whose only purpose is to convey the values and beauty of traditional art and culture.
